My reservation against reservations

yes, after a long hiatus, i am back. The recent announcement by the govt. to introduce reservations in iits and iims is shocking. What is more shocking is that now they are planning to introduce reservations in private companies too. If even jobs come under reservation, it would mean a step back in time. I have never discriminated against anyone for being from a specific caste or tribe. Neither can i identify by his/her name nor am i interested. But now, a different kind of feeling comes after hearing this huge amounts of reservations in all the fields. Now you begin to wonder if he/she has got admission on his/her merit or otherwise which is nothing but again going into the past where our forefathers discriminated against so called lower castes. We( General category so as to say) are still paying for the sins our ancestors committed. And we still dont know how long we would have to keep paying. I am not against reservations. Its already quite sufficient. And reservations should now not be given based on anyones name but on the financial state of a person.
